As you read the posts on this website, you might have got the idea that it is focused on the research which was done about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and theology. In this post, I want to present the problem statement which was addressed in this research.      The problem focus of this research is a lack of theological framework, and especially the absence of a framework highlighting the character of the biblical God, by which to analyze, interpret, and evaluate AI and its implications for human life in a theologically informed manner.       In response to this problem, I explored and identified biblical themes of eight attributes of God from the Bible and the relationality between the creator and creation. When I started with the research on AI and theology for my dissertation, I mentioned the topic to some people. Many people were impressed with my topic. I also got strange reactions from people who thought I was going to work on an issue that does not have anything to do with religion or theology. Someone commented, “at the end of the day, it is a machine, and you can take out the power plug.” I do not think they understand the issue or questions raised by AI.   I will be highlighting many issues in future posts.
